My goal is to inspire the spirit of celebration and nurture positive growth within my community. My promise is to help create joy while celebrating accomplishments, milestones, kindred spirits, and the differences that make every person uniquely worth honoring.

Purpose Statement: To establish outpast2 as a community purveyor of custom desserts, home goods, and celebratory fashion to a culturally diverse population while maintaining my uncompromising values and principles as my company grows along side our nation.

Do you ship?

While I don't plan on shipping my cakes, I am hoping to offer some of my tasty treats in an online store along with merchandise sooner than when my storefront vision realistically will become a reality. Unfortunately, this will only be for US residents and the timeline is not yet finalized. Please stay tuned for updates! 

How do I order a custom cake?

How far in advance should I place my order?

As soon as you can. Orders are taken based on availability and so while I'd love nothing more than to accommodate everyone that reaches out to me, sometimes I am unable to do so. Orders that are finalized less 4 days in advance are subject to a $20 rush fee.

When may  I collect my order?

Pick-up windows are scheduled at the time of placing the order and are by appointment only. I block off an hour for your pick-up window to help trouble shoot unexpected traffic and other possible delays.

 

10-11 am in the mornings

1-2 pm in the afternoons

6-7 pm in the evenings

 

Please feel free to communicate a hour length window that would better fit your schedule as needed and I will do my best to accommodate it. Changes to your pick-up time after it has been set may be difficult due to scheduling conflicts. It's best to schedule the earliest you think you'll be able to pick-up so that I can be sure to have everything ready for you. 

What do I need to know for the drive home with a cake?

I highly recommend transporting your goods in a cool or air-conditioned car, protected from sunlight and on a flat, stable surface. Generally, the best place is either on the passenger side floor or in the truck of the car with a towel under the box to avoid it from sliding around. Box sizes depend on your order and I will let you know individually what that is. I DO NOT recommend strapping it into a seat as this is not a stable surface. I'm always happy to come help place it into your car for you to make sure it stays safe! Of course if you have someone available and willing to hold it for you on the drive home, that's always a smart option as well. 

What is the best way to store my cake?

Once you've got your cake the best way to store it is in the fridge away from any strong smelling foods. I recommend taking the cake out of the fridge about an hour before serving it to allow it to warm up to room temperature for the best flavor and texture. Make sure to keep it out of direct sunlight, heaters or open flames. If there are any leftovers, place them in an airtight container and store it in the fridge. My cakes are always best consumed within a week of your pick up date. 

Do you deliver to homes or venues?

No, I am unable to offer delivery of any sort at this time. 

Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, or vegan items?

Please be aware that since I operate out of my home and have all of these items in my kitchen I cannot 100% guarantee these requests. Please always tell me of allergies that I need to be aware of but if you are severely allergic, I may not be the baker that best fits your needs. I don not specifically offer any allergy conscious items. 

How do I pay you the monies?

I will send you a PayPal invoice via email once I have all your order details. Please take the time to review it as this will be my final reference when creating your custom order. Payment may be made online with a credit card or in person upon pick-up with exact cash. I do not have a credit card reader available at the time of pick-up and am not big enough to warrant having change on-hand. I do not accept checks. Please be aware that I will not provide your goods without payment (i.e., no you may not go home with your order and pay me later).
